Sierra Nevada Starts Today
I'm sitting up in Tehachapi CA, Mile 550. Heading out today I will be taking my first steps into the Sierra Mountains. I have no idea when my next computer access will be. I know that my next stop in 150 miles, Kennedy Meadows, doesn't have a computer and after that I'm up in the high peaks. My third camera memory card is nearly full and my Bear Canister is on its way. I'm so ready to stay above 8,000 feet, just 200 miles away.
I hope everyone had an eventful Memorial Day... I watched Terminator.

While Justin and I hiked and climbed in Arizona we thought of you and your desert! Glad you're having a great time and making great time!! Yay for you!! (And for us when we get to have you back, Mountain Man!)
